With support from Turbine Kreuzberg, Spryker will help Turck bring more products online and allow customers to order seamlessly from a single hub
BERLIN and NEW YORK, 22 Dec. 10, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Spryker, the leading platform for Enterprise Marketplaces, Thing Commerce and Unified Commerce, today announced that Turck, a global partner for factory, process and logistics automation across multiple industries, has selected Spryker to lead the development of its new e-commerce platform. Turbine Kreuzberg will be an essential partner for the development and implementation of this project. Together, the partners are building a unified global sales and service platform to strengthen Turck’s global distribution network, which spans more than 30 national subsidiaries. Turck and Turbine Kreuzberg develop the platform using a technical stack built around the modular headless operating system, Spryker Commerce OS.
Active in the sector for many decades, Turck is one of the leading companies in the field of industrial automation. The automation solutions offered by Turck increase the availability and efficiency of machines and plants in many sectors such as food, pharmaceutical, chemical and automotive, and applications such as mobile machinery, intralogistics and packaging. At the forefront of Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Turck has mastered the art of minimizing the disconnect between custom products and mass production for its customers. From a business perspective, however, very sophisticated and potentially complex transactions can result.
“When choosing a commerce platform, we knew that most would be able to offer headless integrations, following an API-first approach, but we wanted to understand the real commerce impact our commerce strategy could have over time. Spryker understands the manufacturing challenges of digitalization and will help us accelerate time to market and gain greater flexibility for the future,” said Matthias Turck, Global Head of E-Commerce at Turck. “We are looking forward to the collaboration with Spryker and Turbine Kreuzberg. Together, we are laying the groundwork for the personalized customer experience and the future for our customers.”
As Spryker’s first solution development partner, Turbine Kreuzberg has been working on Spryker projects for over seven years, with a total of 21 projects to date. Over the past year, Turbine Kreuzberg has increased its staff by over 55%, increasing its overall implementation capabilities for Spryker and demonstrating Spryker’s strong development in the market.
“We are proud to partner with Spryker again on our new project with Industrial Internet of Things pioneer Turck,” said Christopher Möhle, CEO of Turbine Kreuzberg. “It’s a real partnership, both personally and technologically. Turck offers extensive industry experience in everything from materials to logistics and manufacturing processes. We are happy to add our own platform development skills and experience. 🇧🇷
The Spryker platform, designed specifically for complex digital commerce businesses, will allow for easy integration with Turck’s existing global products and appliances. Spryker’s modular approach, based on the most advanced technologies, will provide flexibility to implement a wide range of use cases and adapt as needed in an ever-changing market.
“We believe in the power of a strong partnership, as evidenced by our mission to ‘Design Results Beyond Technology,’ and are excited to be working with Turck and Turbine Kreuzberg to enhance your B2B digital commerce experience,” said Boris Lokschin, co – founder and CEO of Spryker. “This project exemplifies Turck’s ambition and commitment to digital transformation and leadership in a historically traditional industry. This investment will help them expand their business into new markets and secure the future of their business. We look forward to the future prospects for Turck and its customers. 🇧🇷
