Les Septuors de L’Indépendant 2022: nine companies from the Eastern Pyrenees in the spotlight

This 5th edition has once again rewarded the territory’s economic actors. A ceremony organized by L’Indépendant this Tuesday, May 31, at the headquarters of Crédit Agricole Sud Méditerranée in Perpignan.

The fifth edition of the Septs of the Eastern Pyrenees gave its verdict, this Tuesday, May 31, during an evening that highlighted the dynamism of the economic actors in the territory. An event organized by L’Indépendant and hosted once again at Crédit Agricole Sud Méditerranée. “The opportunity to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit that contributes to the progress of society. The Septets participate in this ecosystem“, welcomed Nicolas Tavernier, general manager of the Perpignan headquarters.

Thus, many economic and political actors from the territory were present, as well as the 9 sponsors that came to reward the largest number of categories, each composed of three nominated companies. Often loyal partners (Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole, CER France, Department of Pyrenees-Orientales, University of Perpignan Via Domitia, Le Monde Nouveau, Mutual Harmony, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of 66, Club de l’Éco de L’Indépendant and finally , the Region of Occitania) to deliver the trophies to the lucky ones.

Family businesses established many years ago, but also innovative young start-ups and other daring entrepreneurs. An evening organized by Alain Baute, General Manager of L’Indépendant, not forgetting to greet “all these entrepreneurs who fight and fight, these men and women who dare, who undertake, who take risks…“Laureates who will meet until the end of the year in Montpellier for the Occinov regional final.

International Septet: Onedirect

Number one in France, Onedirect has specialized for 23 years in the distribution of telecommunications equipment and videoconferencing solutions or meeting rooms for professionals. The Catalan company with 120 employees and located in Saint-Estève generates 45% of its turnover of 66 million internationally.

Septet Entrepreneurs: Kuupanda

Kuupanda (seed in Swahili) developed from the Vall-up nursery in Céret a marketing and commercial management tool aimed at producers and farmers to save time. The start-up’s agility conquered the Hectar campus (equivalent to Ecole 42 at Agritech) which integrated it into its business accelerator.

Septet Commerce and Crafts: Manufacture du Garnet

It is impossible to go to Prades without visiting the Manufacture du Garnet and its Catalan jewelery workshop. An establishment with the Living Heritage Company seal and jewels recognized for their red color and their assemblies made entirely by hand by a team of jewelers trained on site.

Innovation Septet: Mega Castillet

There’s always something going on at Mega Castillet. The cinema was the first in France to invest in an immersive MX4D room with 3D projection, Atmos sound, but also mobile armchairs, water jets and aroma diffusion. A must to watch the last Top Gun.

Septuor Agroalimentar: Milles Brewery

Sustainable Development Septet: Windelo

Since 2018, Windelo has been designing sailboats and catamarans that are more respectful of the environment from recycled and biologically sourced materials in the nautical center of Canet. Boats over 15 meters long and an order book already full for the next two years.

Septet Sector: Sotranasa

Founded in 1974, Sotranasa stood out in the implementation of telecommunications and fiber optic networks with large operators. After conquering a large market for Orange, the company has no fewer than 700 employees in the department.

Eco Club Special Price: Ibiza Swimming Pools

This 100% family-owned company manufactures Made in France polyester shell pools at its robotic factories in Pia and Argenton-sur-Creuse (Indre). With 2,600 pools sold last year, the company is currently growing strongly with 120 employees and €32 million in turnover.
