Here are the 18 jury nominees for the first Eure-et-Loir Business Trophies

The three companies named by category are listed here in alphabetical order, not chronological order. With the publication of this list, a new phase of highlighting the participants in the Eure-et-Loir Business Trophies, organized by the republican echo and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This begins with the filming, in the coming days, of videos presenting the activities of these Eurelian companies.

In each category, the winner will be chosen by the public on Tuesday night, September 20, at Chartrexpo.

Eure-et-Loir business trophies: the jury selected the 18 nominees for the first edition

1) Innovation

Beauty Mix. cosmetics. Created by the young Cartresian engineer Nelly Pitt, the homemade cosmetics robot conquered, in just four years, the hearts of women in France and fame in the media. Last year, BeautyMix even started its growth in Europe by entering Swiss boutiques and was named the product of the year. Its stainless steel tank, in which the ingredients are mixed, is made by the famous industrialist Guy Degrenne.

BizLink Robotic Solutions France. medical robotics. Discreet but extremely technological, BizLink, established at Jardin d’entreprises in Chartres, is a world leader in positioning patients in proton therapy, which concerns the treatment of cancers, thanks to its Orion robot. Although the Chartres BizLink unit is part of an international group, their work continues to be exceptional due to the strong global competition in this sector.

BMG SECURITS HYDROA. Precision engineering. The SME sees its activity divided between the manufacture of mechanical parts, the manufacture of cylinders and safety nuts for the industry and the manufacture of plastic cups for the perfumery-cosmetic sector. With the help of the AMME laboratory at the University of Rouen, the company is developing a viable bio-based alternative for making these cups.

2) Digital

Chartres Karting. Hobbies. Thierry Picquart is a Eurelian entrepreneur recognized for his social investment in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors. Lately, it has taken a 360° turn into the leisure activities sector. The Chartres Electric Karting project opened its doors in 2021. It is an indoor leisure complex that includes a 420 m electric karting track, homologated in both directions.

Stores-et-Rideaux. with. online business. The adventure of Stéphane Berretti, in a rural business in Nottonville, specializing in the blinds and curtains trade, deserves respect. It is an online tool for monitoring the maintenance of geolocated road works.

Alban Muller International. cosmetics. Founded by Alban Muller in 1978, the company is a pillar of the Cosmetic Valley competitiveness cluster. The group, based in Fontenay-sur-Eure, passed into the hands of the English Croda International. Its excellence lies in its ability to mobilize its research laboratories and production tools to manufacture labeled and tested natural ingredients for cosmetic formulas. Alban Muller has won several national awards.

Expansion Laboratories. Mustela. Famous for its Mustela brand, the Expanscience group has been based in Epernon for over 70 years. After being the world’s first pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic laboratory certified by B Corp (short for Benefit Corporation) in 2018, it has set ambitious ten- and twenty-year goals to become a company with a positive, regenerative impact. This is how Expanscience was certified as a “company with a mission” in 2021.

Novo Nordisk production. pharmaceutical. The essential Danish pharmaceutical group, the world leader in the treatment of diabetes, has had its Eurelian place of excellence since the 1960s. Novo Nordisk is the main private employer in Eure-et-Loir. He is also one of the main foreign investors in the territory. It continues to expand and modernize its Chartin site while strengthening its local social and environmental policy.

4) Ambassador of the Territory

Claas France. Agricultural machinery. It is a German agricultural machinery giant that decided, in 2019, to concentrate its activities and set up its headquarters in France in Ymeray, in Eure-et-Loir. Less than 18 months later, a site, called Technopôle Claas, covers 15 hectares, serving as the group’s French headquarters with administrative, financial, marketing, technical support, logistics, spare parts and training functions. This campus is also home to Claas Réseau Agricole and Claas Financial Services. It receives more than 350 people and 2,500 interns annually.

More than 5,000 copies leave the Eurelian website every day.

5) Economic performance

Mouton-Esmard. mirrors. Stéphanie and Daniel Béquet took over the Mouton-Esmard industrial mirror factory in Saint-Lubin-des-Joncherets in 2017. At the time of the acquisition, the mirror factory had seven employees and an annual turnover of less than €630,000. Just a year and a half later, the Lubin mirror factory employs 22 people and quadruples its initial turnover. It continues to invest in modern capacities and growth equipment, while protecting its centuries-old know-how in glass treatment and processing. Finally, the company managed to diversify.

The company Biagri, owner of the website, was founded by two childhood friends from Dunes, Vincent Guilhem de Pothuau and Pierre-Antoine Foreau, in 2015. TMFCT. Industry. Stéphane Massonnat’s company, TMFCT, specializes in stainless steel tubes for the pharmaceutical industry and maintenance of tunnel ovens for industrial biscuit factories. Bunqr offers a complete mobile app to make financial management of your business accessible to all independent VSE creators.

House Mr. Innovation. The young team at the start-up Maison M breathes all their innovative creativity into a unique lipstick that offers any shade customized by its wearer. Practical and eco-responsible, its innovative, refillable case contains up to three personalized shades so users can approach every occasion with elegance. Maison M is housed in the incubator at The Place by CCI28 in Chartres.

Menuz. Organization. Menuz is a non-electronic connected object that allows you to discover new recipes, create weekly menus and generate shopping lists in a simple and fun way. Menuz is also a smart shopping list app created by Géraldine Portal. In 2017, the young woman met the manager of The Place by CCI28, at the time, who encouraged her in this regard. Today, her product is in the launch phase.
