Ardian takes a stake in Nutripure, a digital brand specializing in sports nutrition and dietary supplements.
Ardian, one of the world leaders in private investment, announces its entry into the capital of Nutripure. Bpifrance completes the round table. Founded in late 2017 by five-time Karate World Champion Christophe Carrio and Florent Carrio, Nutripure is a DNVB (Digital Native Vertical Brand) that designs and distributes organic food supplements and superfoods, primarily through its own website.
Nutripure has experienced very strong growth of over 90% per year since its inception, always having been profitable. The company is becoming a true leader in its market, mainly thanks to its multi-sport and health positioning. The brand is indeed recognized by consumers for its premium quality products, based on the naturalness, purity and traceability of the components and on an entirely Made in France manufacturing.
Initially created to meet the needs of high-level athletes and athletes, Nutripure is now geared towards those looking to take care of their health. This depth of offering translates into four product categories (Health & Metabolism, Muscle Building & Endurance, Tendons & Ligaments, Balanced Nutrition). The brand offers a growing share of references that meet specific goals (improve sleep, reduce stress, maintain joints, improve blood circulation, etc.), which now account for the majority of sales.
Ardian’s entry into Nutripure’s equity will allow the company to prepare for the next phase of its development while maintaining its strong growth trajectory. Ardian’s Growth team, through its history of investments in the sector, will make its vast network available to Nutripure and will actively contribute to the founders’ reflections on their key themes, namely product strategy, marketing positioning, optimization of sales paths or the structuring of the company. In turn, Bpifrance will complete the system by making its support offerings available.
