Crédit Agricole du Maroc (CAM) signed yesterday, Monday, May 9, 2022, a long-term strategic partnership with Mastercard to bring to the Moroccan market new technologies and new products and services to make everyday transactions intuitive, transparent and safe.

In a press release, Crédit Agricole du Maroc (CAM) announces that it has signed a long-term strategic partnership with Mastercard to make daily transactions intuitive, transparent and secure, thus becoming the first bank in Africa to launch digitalization of bank cards on e-commerce sites that support the “MDES for Merchant” standard.

CAM indicates that it intends to create more value for private and professional customers by offering them innovative payment solutions. It is in this context that the bank launched CAM PAY, a mobile payment solution that allows customers to scan their bank card to pay for their purchases by smartphone, in Morocco and abroad. Thus, all of its customers, holders of a Mastercard bank card and owners of an Android mobile device with Near Field Communications (NFC) technology, can easily benefit from this solution.
