In order to be as close to the field as possible, the Group’s managers are convinced that having an internationally oriented DNA is one of the ingredients that made this ETI family, a specialist in international mobility for almost half a century, successful.
From its values of family and cultural proximity, the need to respond to an offer of services of excellence in relocations, relocations, management of records, preservation and enhancement of heritage was born.
The group’s expansion was guided by the desire to support its customers wherever they needed it, offering them the same quality services all over the world.
Find out how MOBILITAS was launched in the Middle East and its development projects for the future.
A retrospective of the constitution of the MOBILITAS group at the crossroads of the world
Faced with the growing demand for international mobility services, MOBILITAS has made the winning bet of offering a tailor-made local service. Changes are managed from start to finish with a single point of contact that knows the area perfectly and coordinates all the steps from preparation to your client’s move to the country. It is quite naturally following its values that the Group establishes itself in the Middle East.
In fact, in 2009, a new defense agreement was signed by Nicolas Sarkozy with the United Arab Emirates. The Middle East is becoming an important strategic geographic area for France, which is setting up a military base in Abu Dhabi. To support the 300 military personnel deployed to the Emirates, the Group opened its first entity in Dubai in 2011, followed by Abu Dhabi in 2012. In 2015, the opening of the branch in Qatar follows the expansion of Band.
With its 3 strategic locations, the Group serves the entire Middle East and supports many French companies, large hotel groups and large retailers.
“Today, these 3 branches have grown significantly since they were first opened in 2011. Indeed, the branches have considerably developed their activities not only in the area of mobility, but also in the management of records. The management and conservation of archives is an important issue for the private sector and States. This constitutes a strategic axis of development for MOBILITAS, which today is a reference company in handling and archiving in the Middle East”, explains Zia Husain, Director of the Middle East and India network.
MOBILITAS carries out an average of twenty removals and freight and logistics operations per day. The Group is one of the trusted partners for the World Expo in Dubai and the 2022 Football World Cup in Qatar.

The Heritage Pole: MOBILITAS’ secret weapon
In line with its diversification project, the Group is mobilizing itself to develop internationally and particularly in the Middle East, the heritage division led by Grégory Masanet.
This center brings together exceptional and complementary skills in the service of the preservation and enhancement of cultural, artistic and historical heritage: restoration of old books and documents, digitization of iconographic and photographic collections, but also audiovisual, 3D digitization of movable and historical assets with the creation of immersive virtual reality devices to share priceless treasures with the general public.
“The first contacts were made locally with the desire to help the Middle East to preserve and enhance part of its heritage”, Grégory Masanet confided to us.
Resolutely facing the future, MOBILITAS continues to invest and improve all its services to continue to be a reliable partner in the long term. Indeed, the next step in terms of facilities and infrastructure will be the opening of subsidiaries in Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia planned between 2022 and 2025.
