How it works ?

“Nothing could be simpler”, guarantees Pierric: “You have to download the Stride City application that gives access to the map of the locations… Once the nearest machine is located, the user recovers the battery using the code integrated into the application. click on the tab “Lend a battery”, scan the QR Code, and that’s it. To protect the device, the user must, however, make a deposit that will be debited from the bank account if the battery is not returned after 48 hours. It should also be noted that the self-service batteries can also be used to recharge tablets, headphones, all small electronics”, adds the founder of Stride.

Free thanks to sponsors

To ensure the service is free, the start-up charges… the brands through paid partnerships. “We are proposing a new communication offer based on 3 supports that benefit the brand”, explains Pierric: “The screen that equips our Boxes; the app; and finally the batteries themselves equipped with the sponsor’s logo”.
